IOF detains several Palestinians and assaults others in West Bank raids

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out wide raids and house searches across several West Bank areas overnight and Monday morning, involving arrests and assaults on residents.

According to local sources, Israeli forces stormed the village of Beit Imrin, northwest of Nablus, encircled a house, and kidnaped nine young men.

Israeli forces also surrounded a family inside its home in the village of Jalud, southeast of Nablus, and assaulted local residents in nearby streets.

Two young men were also taken prisoner during IOF raids in the village of Kafr Qallil and the Dahiya neighborhood of Nablus.

In Ramallah, Israeli forces raided the village of al‑Mughayir northeast of the city, launching searches and kidnaping five young men.

In Jenin, Israeli forces severely beat a young man in the German neighborhood and confiscated his vehicle.

The IOF also stormed the town of Qabatiya in southern Jenin and kidnaped a young man from his home.

In Tubas, a large number of Israeli troops stormed al‑Fari‘ah refugee camp in the south of the city, besieged a house, and kidnaped a young man.

The IOF also carried out raids in other West Bank areas, with no reported arrests.

In a separate incident, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers stole horses from a Palestinian-owned stable in the Safeh Tayasir area in the east of Tubas, but local youths managed to fend them off and recover the animals.
