WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed multiple areas of the West Bank last night and on Wednesday morning, kidnaping several Palestinian citizens and committing different violations.
Local sources said the IOF kidnaped 13 Palestinians from several West Bank governorates, including 18‑year‑old Wisam Jum’ah from the village of Wadi al‑Fari‘ah, south of Tubas, after summoning him for interrogation at the Huwara military base.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces kidnaped a citizen during a raid in the Solomon’s Pools tourist area, located between al‑Khader town and Artas village in the south of the governorate.
The IOF also stormed the towns of Dar Salah, al‑Ubeidiya, al‑Shawawra, Za‘tara, and Harmala east of Bethlehem, as well as al-Deheisha refugee camp.
The IOF reportedly detained journalist Muaad Amarneh for several hours before releasing him in al-Deheisha camp, and ransacked a commercial kiosk in Beit Fajjar.
Israeli bulldozers also leveled farmland in the village of Beit Sakariya south of Bethlehem, in a move aimed at expanding an illegal settlement in the area.
In al-Khalil, the Israeli army demolished two rooms and a sanitary unit belonging to Shi’b al-Butm School in Masafer Yatta.
In Ramallah, another citizen was taken prisoner following an IOF raid in the village of Umm Safa.
In Tulkarem, the IOF kidnaped two citizens from the town of Deir al-Ghusun and the village of al-Jarushiya.
In Qalqilya, five citizens were kidnaped from their homes in the city.
In Tubas, Israeli forces stormed al-Fari’ah refugee camp and searched several homes.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers, together with settlers, erected makeshift structures near Khirbet Yarza east of Tubas, sparking Palestinian concerns that they are laying the groundwork for a new outpost.
A group of extremist Jewish settlers also vandalized a vital water pipeline in Tubas, cutting off supply to 12 families in the communities of Yarza and Ras al‑Ahmar.
In southern Nablus, the IOF stormed the village of al‑Lubban al‑Sharqiya south of Nablus, firing stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards homes.
In eastern Jenin, the IOF delivered demolition notices against three tourist facilities in the village of Arana.
In a separate incident, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked a citizen’s vehicle, from Deir Dibwan town east of the governorate, as he and his family were leaving their farm in the al‑Marj area in an attempt to hijack the car.
