WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that Ziad Mohammad Jaber, 54, was killed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the Umm al-Sharayet area of Al-Bireh.
The ministry said Jaber succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained when IOF troops raided the area.
The IOF stormed Umm al-Sharayet early on Tuesday and opened live fire, critically wounding Jaber before he was later pronounced dead, according to local sources.
Jaber’s killing brings the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli gunfire in the West Bank since the beginning of the year to more than 100, amid almost-daily Israeli raids and attacks.
