IOF Launches Fresh Raids, Arrests Palestinians Across West Bank

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched widespread raids across cities and towns in the West Bank and Jerusalem overnight and early Friday, arresting several Palestinians and triggering confrontations, while Jewish settlers carried out attacks and vandalism in several areas.

In Jenin, the IOF raided homes in the village of Fahma, southwest of the city, and arrested a young man and two women. The IOF also stormed the town of Arraba, southwest of Jenin, and the Harsh al-Saada area in the city, where they raided a home.

In Nablus, Jewish settlers stormed the village of Awarta, south of the city, and performed Talmudic rituals at the al-Uzair shrine. Israeli forces also arrested a Palestinian man after raiding his home and stormed the Bir Quza area in Beita and the villages of Tell and Surra.

In Ramallah and al-Bireh, the IOF stormed the Jalazone refugee camp north of Ramallah and fired tear gas during confrontations with Palestinian youths. The IOF troops also raided the Umm al-Sharayet neighborhood in al-Bireh and searched a home.

Jewish settlers attacked the home of Nayef Kaabneh and assaulted residents and solidarity activists in the town of Taybeh, east of Ramallah. Settlers also threw stones at a Palestinian vehicle near the Yabroud bridge, causing it to overturn, and carried out provocative tours near the town of Sinjil.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces stormed the town of Beit Fajjar, south of the city.

Meanwhile, Jewish settlers vandalized Palestinian property after Israeli forces demolished a home in Khallat al-Hummus in Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil.
