WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of raids and military incursions across the West Bank and Jerusalem overnight and into Friday morning, resulting in arrests and heightened tensions in several areas.
In the Jenin area, IOF troops entered the town of Ya’bad southwest of the city and raided Al-Yamoun to the west, where they arrested a Palestinian young man.
Israeli special forces also surrounded a building located between the Arab American University and the town of Al-Zababdeh south of Jenin.
In Nablus, tensions escalated on Sufyan Street in the city center after an undercover Israeli unit entered the area. Local sources reported that Israeli forces assaulted several young men during the operation.
Later, the detainee was identified as Ayman Al-Khatib, a Palestinian citizen from inside Israel, who was arrested after the undercover unit infiltrated central Nablus.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces raided a home during an incursion into the town of Al-Shuyukh north of the city.
The raids and arrests come amid escalating tensions across the occupied Palestinian territories and a broader increase in military operations by Israeli forces and settlers.
