IOF launches raids in West Bank and Jerusalem, arrests Palestinians

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem on Thursday, raiding homes and kidnaping a number of Palestinian citizens.

In Jenin, Israeli forces stormed the city’s Khillet al-Souha neighborhood and fired stun grenades towards residents.

Israeli forces also stormed other areas of Jenin, including the towns of Qabatiya and Sanur, where they carried out raids on homes.

In Nablus, the IOF stormed the village of Rujeib, east of the city, and the town of Beita to the south. They reportedly kidnaped a citizen from his home in Beita.

The IOF also stormed the village of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, twice within a few hours, raiding a house and kidnaping a young man from his home.

In Tubas, Israeli forces stormed the Wadi al-Fari’ah area south of the city, amid intensive gunfire.

In Jerusalem, Israeli police forces stormed al-Am’ari neighborhood in the town of Kafr ‘Aqab, north of the holy city, where they reportedly broke into and ransacked several homes.

In addition, the Israeli police kidnaped three young Palestinians from Jerusalem in the morning, and extended the detention of two others.
