IOF Launches Widespread Raids, Arrests Palestinians Across West Bank

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched widespread raids across cities and towns in the West Bank early on Tuesday, arresting dozens of Palestinians, including former prisoners and women.

In Jenin, the IOF raided the village of Barta’a, the towns of Qabatiya, Arraba and Kafr Ra’i, and the village of Siris. They arrested a Palestinian man after raiding his home in Qabatiya, while women were also detained during an ongoing raid on the village of Fahma.

In Tubas, the IOF arrested another man after raiding his home in the town of Aqaba, north of the city.

In Tulkarem, Israeli forces raided the town of Bal’a and arrested two people during a raid on Anabta, including an ex-prisoner.

In Qalqilya, the IOF troops stormed the city through its northern entrance and also raided the town of Kafr Thuluth, arresting ten Palestinians, including former prisoners and a woman.

Israeli forces also raided several areas in Nablus, Ramallah, al-Bireh, Occupied Jerusalem, Jericho, Bethlehem and al-Khalil.

Clashes erupted in al-Bireh during the raid on the Umm al-Sharayet area, where a Palestinian was seriously wounded by live Israeli fire in the abdomen and thigh.
