The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out dawn Wednesday raids on homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed Urif town in southern Nablus and raided homes belonging to the families and relatives of martyrs Muhanad Shahada and Khaled Sabah, who carried out the shooting operation in Ramallah yesterday.
The IOF reportedly took measurements of two homes belonging to the martyrs’ families as a prelude to demolishing them later and kidnaped five of their relatives, including the brother of Muhanad Shahada.
Israeli forces also broke into and ransacked homes in different areas of al-Khalil City and Dura City, with no reported arrests.
In Tubas, the IOF raided several homes in Tamun town and kidnaped at least one citizen.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police officers kidnaped a young man from his home at dawn after searching it in Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque.
