IOF raids in Qalqilya and Nablus lead to arrest of three Palestinians

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested three Palestinians during pre-dawn raids across the West Bank on Friday, as military incursions continued in the governorates of Qalqilya and Nablus, alongside additional raids in other areas.

According to local sources, Israeli forces arrested a young man after raiding his home in the town of Jayyous, east of Qalqilya. They also detained another Palestinian during a raid on the Kafr Saba neighborhood in Qalqilya.

In the Nablus governorate, the IOF arrested a local resident after storming his home in the village of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, south of the city.

The IOF troops also raided the Askar New refugee camp east of Nablus and Ein Beit al-Ma’ refugee camp west of the city, searching several homes and ransacking their contents. No arrests were reported during those raids.

The raids extended to the town of Al-Zawiya, west of Salfit, where Israeli forces deployed throughout residential neighborhoods before searching multiple homes, damaging property, and vandalizing belongings. No arrests were reported.

In the Bethlehem governorate, Israeli forces stormed the town of Tuqu’, southeast of the city, where they carried out house searches in several neighborhoods without making any arrests.

Israeli forces conduct near-daily raids and arrest campaigns across the occupied West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem, involving home searches, detentions, and arrests.

According to the Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies, Israeli forces carried out approximately 3,000 arrests during the first half of this year, including 109 women and 212 children.
