WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different areas of the West Bank last night and at dawn Monday, raiding homes and kidnaping a number of Palestinian citizens.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped 11 citizens from their homes in the village of Marah Rabah, south of Bethlehem.
The IOF also kidnaped two young men and confiscated some cars during a raid in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem.
In Ramallah, Israeli forces launched a campaign of raids and arrests in Birzeit, north of Ramallah.
They also stormed the Umm al‑Sharayet neighborhood in al‑Bireh City and kidnaped ex-detainee Mahmoud Shalatwa after raiding his home in the village of Aboud, northwest of Ramallah.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces kidnaped journalist Alaa Sarahneh after ransacking his home in al-Fawwar refugee camp.
The IOF also broke into a house in the al-Dairat area of Masafer Yatta and detained its residents for a while.
In Nablus, Israeli forces kidnaped a young man from his home in Balata refugee camp and ransacked a house in the village of Tell.
In Qalqilya, a young man was taken prisoner following IOF raids in the towns of Jayyous and Azzun.
The IOF also carried out raids in other West Bank areas, with no reported arrests.
