WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a wide arrest campaign across the West Bank last night and at dawn Tuesday, detaining more than 30 citizens, including women and former prisoners.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped five citizens, including a woman, from al-Khalil City and al-Fawwar refugee camp.
Another woman, identified as Abeer Mahmoud from Seida town in Tulkarem, was taken prisoner by Israeli forces during her presence in Ramallah City.
The IOF also kidnaped four teenagers from Ramallah, three from the village of Deir Abu Masha’al and one from the village of Aboud.
In the village of Beit Amin, south of Qalqilya, Israeli forces kidnaped three sons of Abdul Salam Omar, an ex‑detainee released as part of a swap deal and later exiled to Egypt, after raiding their home.
The IOF also stormed the towns of Kafr Thuluth and Sanniriya in Qalqilya and kidnaped nine citizens from their homes.
Two young men were reportedly kidnaped by the IOF from their homes in the town of Askar al-Balad in Nablus and the town of Faqqu’ah in Jenin.
Another young man was kidnaped by the IOF from al-Deheisha refugee camp in southern Bethlehem.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces kidnaped Hussam Seder, an Islamic Awqaf employee at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and extended his detention until Thursday.
Another citizen, identified as political activist Tamer Khalifa, was kidnaped from his home in the city of Umm al-Fahm.
On Monday, two young men sustained bullet injuries when Israeli forces stormed the old refugee camp of Askar in Nablus.
Other citizens, including a journalist, were also injured when Israeli soldiers severely beat them during the IOF raid in the Askar camp.
In southern Jenin, Israeli forces seized a three‑story home in the town of Ya’bad, detaining its residents on the first floor and turning the building into military barracks.
The IOF also deployed snipers in two other houses in Ya’bad and detained several families inside them.
In southern al-Khalil, Israeli soldiers kidnaped two brothers in Masafer Yatta after a horde of extremist Jewish settlers assaulted Palestinian villagers in the areas of Rajoum Aali and Khallet Amira and injured one of them.
The IOF also stormed other West Bank areas on Monday, particularly at night, setting up checkpoints, raiding homes, and attacking residents.
