GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Five Palestinian fishermen sustained bullet injuries on Monday morning following Israeli attacks on their boats off the coast of Gaza City.
According to local sources, two fishermen, Ahmad al‑Sharafi and Ahmad al‑Sheikh, were injured when Israeli gunboats opened machinegun fire on a small fishing boat near the shores of Gaza City.
Earlier, an Israeli quadcopter dropped a bomb on a small fishing boat near Gaza Port, injuring three fishermen.
The Israeli occupation army has systematically destroyed fishing boats and gear belonging to Gaza fishermen, effectively denying them the ability to exercise their profession and secure a livelihood.
