BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Several people were killed and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting different areas across Lebanon on Tuesday, amid evacuation orders issued by the Israeli army for southern towns in preparation for further strikes.
According to the Lebanese health ministry, at least two people were killed and five others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Bechamoun in the Aley district, southeast of Beirut.
In the south, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that four people were killed and four others were wounded in an Israeli strike on the town of Selaa in the Tyre district.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army issued urgent warnings to residents of the southern towns of Maashouk, Tyre, and Burj ash‑Shamali, ordering them to evacuate immediately and move north of the Zahrani River.
On Monday, the Lebanese health ministry said that Israeli attacks on Lebanon had claimed the lives of 1,039 people and injured 2,876 others since March 2.
