Israeli Bombing Kills Entire Palestinian Family in Gaza

Gaza (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian couple and their two young children were killed on Thursday in a brutal Israeli bombing of a residential home in the Beit Lahia Project area in northern Gaza Strip, amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in the territory.

Local sources reported that the bodies of the four victims were brought to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. The attack targeted the home of the Ahmad family. Several other civilians were also injured, while rescue teams continued searching for people trapped under the rubble.

The victims were identified as Mu’min Abdul Rahman Ahmad, the father; Haneen Musa Faris Saleh, the mother; Lana, a 12-year-old girl; and Bana, an 8-year-old girl.

The correspondent further reported that Israeli forces shelled eastern areas of Gaza City with artillery, while Israeli naval vessels opened heavy fire off the coast of Khan Younis and toward eastern areas of the central Gaza Strip.

In the “Shari’ al-Tina” area of Al-Mawasi Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, an Israeli drone strike left one person in critical condition. He was taken to the Nasser Medical Complex for treatment.

Meanwhile, several civilians were reportedly injured on Thursday when Israeli military vehicles and drones opened indiscriminate fire on shelters and tents housing displaced people in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

According to the correspondent, Israeli military vehicles carried out heavy gunfire in the northern areas, while eastern parts of the Jabalia camp were also subjected to artillery shelling. Israeli helicopters also opened fire in the northeastern areas.

Around Al-Khulafa Mosque in the Jabalia camp, helicopter gunfire, artillery shelling and heavy tank fire continued, while Israeli helicopters were also observed flying at low altitudes over the area.

In Gaza City, eastern areas were also subjected to Israeli artillery shelling and heavy tank fire. In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli forces dropped illumination flares east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp.

In the southern Gaza Strip, local sources reported heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles toward eastern areas of “Hamad City,” north of Khan Younis.

These developments come as Israeli violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement continue across various parts of the Strip, including gunfire, artillery shelling and military flights. Large numbers of displaced Palestinians remain near the confrontation lines and continue to face direct threats despite the ceasefire.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of Israel’s aggression on October 7, 2023 has reached 73,669, with children and women accounting for the majority of the victims.

Sources added that the number of injured has risen to 174,652, while large numbers of bodies remain trapped beneath the rubble and on roads where ambulances and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them.
