OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli forces arrested Qusai Ghaith, the son of Jerusalem Governor and Fatah Central Committee member Adnan Ghaith, on Monday evening after raiding the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
According to Palestinian sources, Israeli forces stormed the town, severely assaulted Qusai Ghaith, and then transferred him to a detention and interrogation center in Occupied Jerusalem.
The sources added that Jerusalem Governor Adnan Ghaith and his family have been subjected to ongoing harassment by the Israeli authorities, including repeated arrests.
The restrictions imposed on the governor include bans on attending meetings, meeting with Palestinian officials, traveling, and leaving occupied Jerusalem.
