Israeli forces conduct new raids, detain Palestinians in West Bank

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched fresh large-scale incursions throughout various areas of the West Bank, accompanied by the arrest and mistreatment of Palestinian civilians.

In Qalqilya, the IOF arrested a young man, Mu’adh Nofal, early Saturday morning, confiscating his vehicle during a raid on the Al-Naqar neighborhood.

In Jenin, the IOF raided the towns of Meithalun and Deir Abu Da’if, stormed several homes, and arrested another young man.

Simultaneously, the Beit Qad area in Jenin was also raided, with Israeli soldiers searching the homes of relatives of a “wanted man.”

Bethlehem also saw violent raids in the village of Abu Nujeim, the Solomon’s Pools area, and Al-Khader village. Israeli troops were stationed in Abu Surra and Al-Sayfi neighborhoods, near the entrance to Al-Khader.

In al-Khalil, the IOF set up a military checkpoint in front of the central livestock market in the town of Dhahiriya and inspected Palestinian vehicles.

Additionally, the IOF troops arrested a Palestinian man from his home in Beit Kahil and rearrested an ex-prisoner just a week after his release from Israeli prisons.

Israeli forces also stormed homes in the Al-Adaysa area during an ongoing incursion into Sa’ir, north of al-Khalil.
