WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out raids on homes and arrests in different West Bank areas last night and on Sunday morning, amid clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters in the Old City of Nablus.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped five young men after ransacking their homes in Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem.
Three other young men were taken prisoner following an IOF raid in Husan town, west of Bethlehem.
In Tulkarem, Israeli forces kidnaped three young men from their homes in Qaffin town.
The IOF also kidnaped a young man from Beitunia town in Ramallah and another citizen from Susiya village in Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil.
Local sources in al-Khalil said that Israeli soldiers kidnaped a citizen, seized his car, and assaulted another one during raids on homes in Susiya village.
The IOF also stormed several villages in the northeast of Ramallah and attacked local residents with tear gas canisters and stun grenades, without making arrests.
In Nablus, armed clashes broke out in the morning between Israeli forces and resistance fighters in the Old City.
The IOF reportedly kidnaped one young man during its raid in the Old City of Nablus.
A medical source in Nablus reported that a Palestinian family survived after their car came under fire from Israeli forces in the Old City.
In a separate incident, extremist Jewish settlers grazed their livestock near Palestinian homes in the hamlet of Khirbet Umm al‑Khair on Sunday morning, while others stormed Khirbet al‑Markaz, spreading fear among local families.
