Israeli Forces Kill Two Palestinians Amid Ongoing Gaza Ceasefire Violations

Gaza, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), One Palestinian was killed and several others wounded in an Israeli drone strike in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, while another wounded Palestinian succumbed to injuries sustained several days earlier.

Our correspondent reported that an Israeli drone targeted a tent belonging to the al-Zatmah family in the vicinity of the al-Iqlimiya junction in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, killing one Palestinian and wounding others.

On Thursday, another Palestinian succumbed to wounds sustained in Israeli bombardment and gunfire targeting various areas of the Gaza Strip, while several others were wounded, in another violation of the ceasefire agreement by the Israeli occupation forces.

A local source said that Musab al-Balbisi died from critical injuries he sustained several days ago when Israeli forces bombed the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

Several Palestinians were also wounded in an Israeli drone strike near the al-Attar area in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

A local source reported that Israeli forces carried out heavy artillery shelling targeting eastern areas of Khan Younis. At the same time, Israeli military vehicles opened indiscriminate fire at tents housing displaced Palestinians south of al-Mawasi, Rafah.

In Gaza City, Israeli forces subjected eastern areas to artillery shelling and heavy fire from tanks and helicopters.

Israeli warplanes carried out four airstrikes on uninhabited residential houses near the so-called Yellow Line, around the al-Sanafour junction east of the al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.

The strikes targeted houses belonging to the Abu Tariq al-Batsh and Abu Dawoud al-Batsh families, as well as the al-Zaharna and al-Suwaisi families.

Israeli forces also dropped illumination flares over various areas of northern Gaza, while gunfire from Israeli military vehicles was reported in southern areas of Khan Younis.

The developments came amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement. According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, since the agreement was signed last October, the death toll has reached 1,431, while 5,026 Palestinians have been wounded.
