WST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of overnight and pre-dawn raids across multiple areas of the West Bank, arresting several Palestinians, demolishing part of a home, and seizing civilian vehicles.
In Occupied Jerusalem, local sources said Israeli occupation forces arrested the father of slain Palestinian Iyad Sajdiyah after raiding and searching his home in the Qalandia refugee camp, north of the city.
In the Qalqilya district, Israeli forces arrested a young man after raiding and searching his home in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya.
Several Israeli military vehicles also entered Qalqilya through its main eastern entrance, deploying in the city market and along Nablus Street. The Israeli troops raided a home in the Al-Qar’an neighborhood, though no arrests were reported.
In Tubas, Israeli occupation forces arrested two Palestinians during a raid on the city. The Israeli forces also detonated explosives inside a home and vandalized a civilian vehicle.
In Jenin, several young Palestinian men were arrested after Israeli forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, south of the city, deploying troops throughout several neighborhoods.
In Tulkarem, Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian resident after setting up a temporary checkpoint near the Faroun Roundabout, south of the city.
Israeli troops also raided several homes in the Dhnaba suburb east of Tulkarem, searching the properties and conducting on-site interrogations of residents, including former prisoner Hassan Oufi and members of the Abu Diyya and Abu Shanab families.
Meanwhile, Israeli foot patrols entered the Shuweika suburb north of Tulkarem, conducting search operations in the Al-Na’alwa neighborhood.
In Nablus, Israeli forces broke into several neighborhoods, raiding and searching homes in the Haifa neighborhood, areas surrounding the Old City, and the area between the Old and New Askar refugee camps. Residents reported that Israeli soldiers ransacked homes and damaged their contents.
In the Ramallah district, Israeli occupation forces arrested Anwar Tawil and his 17-year-old son, Ali, after raiding and vandalizing their home in the village of Deir Ibzi’, west of Ramallah.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces detained dozens of Palestinians during a large-scale raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of the city.
Local activist Mohammed Awad said Israeli troops deployed throughout the town, imposed a curfew, and raided numerous homes, searching properties and damaging their contents.
Awad added that dozens of residents were detained and subjected to field interrogations at the town’s sports stadium, which Israeli forces had converted into a temporary military post.
Israeli occupation forces also seized several civilian vehicles during the raid on Beit Ummar.
