WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different areas of the West Bank at dawn Wednesday, raiding homes and kidnaping a number of Palestinian citizens.
In Nablus, Israeli troops spread in different neighborhoods of the city and carried out raids on homes and arrests.
The IOF also stormed the village of Awarta, south of Nablus, and raided a house.
In al-Khalil, violent clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli forces near the town of Beit Ummar after extremist Jewish settlers tried to attack the area.
The IOF also carried out raids in other parts of the West Bank. Arrests were reported in some areas.
Meanwhile, in Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, settlers escorted by soldiers placed a Palestinian home under siege in the Wadi al-Rakhim area. Reports indicate that the siege is still ongoing.
Another group of settlers uprooted olive trees in the plains of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, while others placed Israeli flags at the entrance of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.
