GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of overnight raids across the West Bank that continued until early Friday, storming Palestinian towns, searching homes and setting up military checkpoints, as Jewish settlers continued attacks against Palestinian residents and their property.
IOF troops stormed the town of Rummana, west of Jenin, as well as the New Askar refugee camp and the al-Dahiya neighborhood east of Nablus. The IOF raided a Palestinian home during the incursion into the refugee camp.
The IOF raids also extended to the town of Ni’lin, west of Ramallah, where the IOF searched several homes, triggering confrontations with Palestinian youths.
Meanwhile, IOF troops established a military checkpoint between the villages of Ein Arik and Deir Ibzi, west of Ramallah, while also raiding the nearby town of Beitunia.
In a separate incident south of Nablus, Jewish settlers attacked Palestinians in the al-Harayiq area of Beita, harassing residents and restricting their movement.
The latest incidents come amid intensified IOF military operations across the West Bank, involving home raids, arrests, military checkpoints and increasingly severe restrictions on Palestinian movement.
The raids have coincided with continued settler attacks targeting Palestinian residents, their homes and their property, further heightening tensions across the territory.
