Israeli military orders demolition of Palestinian prisoner’s home near Nablus

NABLUS, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation army issued a punitive military order on Sunday to demolish the home of Palestinian prisoner Dawwas Hassoun in the village of Beit Imrin, north of Nablus.

According to the Hebrew media, the head of the Israeli army’s central command signed an order authorizing the demolition of a house in Beit Imrin belonging to the family of Hassoun.

Hassoun has been accused of carrying out a car-ramming attack in March 2026 near the village of Beit Imrin, which resulted in the death of an extremist Jewish settler.

The Israeli occupation authority routinely uses punitive home demolitions against the families of Palestinians suspected or accused of carrying out attacks against extremist settlers in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.

Human rights organizations and international bodies widely condemn this Israeli practice as an unlawful form of collective punishment.
