Israeli police arrest Palestinian young girl over alleged stabbing

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli police arrested a Palestinian young girl over an alleged stabbing attack near the Bab Hatta gate of the Aqsa Mosque on Monday evening.

Local sources reported that the Israeli forces closed all entrances to the Aqsa Mosque and the Old City and fired into the air following the incident.

The Israeli forces also attacked Palestinian worshipers at the holy site.

Hamas spokesman for Occupied Jerusalem, Mohamed Hamada, condemned the Israeli brutal attack against Palestinian worshipers following the alleged stabbing attack.

“Our people are ready to defend the Aqsa Mosque and thwart all Israeli schemes,” he added.
