Israeli police ban Sheikh Sabri from traveling abroad

Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, head of the Higher Islamic Council in Occupied Jerusalem, has said that the Israeli occupation police handed him a written order banning his travel abroad for one renewable month.

Sheikh Sabri told al-Aqsa Voice radio on Thursday that the Israeli occupation authority persists in persecuting the Jerusalemite figures and activists who defend the Aqsa Mosque.

Because of his supportive positions on Occupied Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Sabri had been summoned, arrested, and interrogated by the Israeli police several times before. The police also banned his entry to the Aqsa Mosque and his travel abroad many times.
