BETHLEHEM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A horde of extremist settlers started on Sunday to fence swaths of Palestinian-owned land in the town of Teqoa, southeast of Bethlehem, in an attempt to seize them.
According to Teqoa mayor Tayseer Abu Mufreh, a group of settlers stormed the Qanan Shaqir area northeast of the town and started enclosing about 15 dunums of land planted with olive trees, belonging to the al‑Asakira family.
The targeted dunums are located only a few dozens of meters away from Palestinian homes.
In a separate incident, another group of settlers wreaked havoc on a Palestinian car in the Balat Susiya area, north of Kafr ad-Dik town in Salfit.
