GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian woman and her child were martyred, and other citizens were injured last night as a result of an Israeli airstrike on tents sheltering displaced families in the south of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that an Israeli warplane bombed tents in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis killing Diana Abu Darraz and her little daughter, Suwar Abu Darraz, adding that several citizens were also wounded in the strike.
Many tents in the bombed area were severely damaged or destroyed by fires.
Another martyr arrived at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital following an Israeli strike last night near the Kuwait rotary in the east of Gaza City.
On Tuesday, Israeli artillery shelled the northwest of Rafah, while armored vehicles opened fire east of Khan Yunis.
Gunfire, artillery shelling, and airstrikes were also reported in other areas of the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out several home demolitions in Khan Yunis and Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood.
