Gaza (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Palestinian resistance groups along with other regional resistance factions say the assassination by Israel of Hezbollah’s Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will only increase the determination of the resistance in the region.
The Hezbollah leader was assassinated in a massive Israeli airstrike on residential buildings in Lebanon’s capital Beirut on Friday.
Palestinian resistance movement Hamas said in a Saturday statement that crimes and assassinations by Israel “will only increase the determination and the insistence of the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon.”
The resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, Hamas said, will “go forward with all their might, bravery and pride on the footsteps of the martyrs…and pursue the path of resistance until victory and the dismissal of the occupation.”
Hamas said that Nasrallah’s “pure blood that was shed on Lebanese soil…will be a curse that haunts this Zionist enemy and will illuminate and extend the path of our people and our resistance, which knows no defeat or surrender.”
Hezbollah confirms assassination of leader Nasrallah on Israeli strike on Beirut
The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance group has confirmed the assassination of its leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, in massive airstrikes against Beirut on Friday evening.
Islamic Jihad, another Palestinian resistance movement also said in a statement that Israel will soon “pay the price of its crimes, and taste defeat for what its sinful hands have done.”
The resistance group reiterated that the martyrdom of Nasrallah “will only strengthen the resistance in Lebanon, Palestine, and the region with more power, resilience, and determination.”
Yemen’s Ansarullah Supreme Political Council also issued a statement, saying that martyr Nasrallah “crowned his giving and jihad with the best conclusion, which is martyrdom in the path of Allah Almighty.”
Echoing Hamas, Ansarullah said that Nasrallah’s martyrdom “will increase the flame of sacrifice, the heat of enthusiasm, the strength of determination and the resolve to continue.”
“The inevitable outcome will be victory and the demise of the “Israeli” enemy and its temporary entity.”
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, a coalition of Palestinian groups in the West Bank, also expressed its “deep sorrow and pain” for the martyrdom of “the sincere leader” of Hezbollah.
Nasrallah, it said, “has become a martyr on the path to Al-Quds, after a life full of sacrifices for the liberation of Palestine, its capital, and its sanctities.”
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, 64, led Lebanon’s resistance group for more than 32 years.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) also offered condolences over the martyrdom of Nasrallah.
“The PFLP expresses its deep solidarity with brethren in Hezbollah — leadership, cadres, and fighters — and the Lebanese people, and the Axis of Resistance, over this great and significant loss. We send them a clear message: Your wound is our wound, the blood of your leaders is our blood, and the martyrdom of the Master of Resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, represents the beginning of a new phase of resistance,” a statement from the movement read.
It added, “The martyrdom of the Master of Resistance represents a grave loss; but it will not weaken the resolve of the resistance nor diminish its determination. On the contrary, the ranks of the resistance in Lebanon and everywhere will step up confrontation with this tyrannical enemy, which understands only the language of force.”
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine also pledged to all resistance fighters in the region that the response to the Zionist regime’s crime of assassinating Nasrallah will be commensurate with the misdemeanor itself.
In a separate message, the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement appreciated the great sacrifices made by the fighters of Hezbollah as well as its honorable leadership and commended their genuine and steadfast position in support of Palestinians.
“We affirm that the Zionist assassination policy will not weaken the resolve of resistance fighters. It will neither break the will of the resistance front nor will restore the prestige and deterrence of the Zionist enemy,” it highlighted.
Moreover, the Lebanese political party Amal Movement stated that the loss of a unique and courageous figure like Nasrallah will not weaken the resolve of the resistance front to continue defending Lebanon against Zionist terrorism, which has exceeded all boundaries of ethics and humanity.
“Our pledge to the martyred Sayyed and all other martyrs is that we will remain shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart, and arm in arm with them. Assassination and aggression will only strengthen our resolve in defending Lebanon,” the movement stated.
