NABLUS, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Two Palestinian brothers were killed and three other citizens were injured by Israeli gunfire during a settler attack on the town of Qaryut, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian health ministry said that armed settlers shot and killed Mohamed Muammar, 52, and his brother Faheem, 47.
According to local sources, a horde of armed settlers attacked citizens’ homes south of Qaryut, firing live bullets at residents and their homes.
The Red Crescent reported that Mohamed was fatally shot in the head, while his brother succumbed to a gunshot wound to the pelvis.
The Red Crescent added that its ambulance crews provided medical assistance for three other wounded citizens in the town following the settler attack and transported them to the hospital.
