WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Extremist Jewish settlers assaulted a Palestinian young man and carried out other attacks in different West Bank areas on Saturday.
Local sources said that a number of settlers stormed the Shallal al-Auja community in northern Jericho, spread among citizens’ homes, and deliberately grazed their livestock on swaths of cultivated land.
In a separate incident, settlers savagely beat a young man from the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, while he was traveling on the road connecting the towns of Biddya and Sanniriya, west of Salfit, and stole his car.
In Ramallah, settlers attacked the villages of al-Mughayir, northeast of Ramallah, and Yabrud to the east.
Local sources reported that armed settlers stormed the al-Qal’ah area east of al-Mughayir village and fired live bullets at residents who confronted them.
Soon later, Israeli soldiers also stormed the same area and attacked the villagers with stun grenades and tear gas canisters.
Luckily, no one was hurt in the attacks in al-Maghayir village.
Another group of settlers attacked Palestinians near Yabrud village, east of Ramallah, while two armed settlers stormed citizens’ lands in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah.
