BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health announced on Thursday that the death toll from Israel’s military assault on Lebanon has risen to 4,321 people killed since March 2, 2026.
In a brief statement, the ministry said that from March 2 through July 9, the Israeli aggression has also left 12,204 people injured.
The number of casualties continues to rise as Israeli airstrikes and military operations persist despite previous ceasefire efforts and agreements, including the April 17 ceasefire deal, with repeated violations still being reported on the ground.
Overnight Wednesday into Thursday, southern Lebanon witnessed a new escalation as the Israeli military carried out a series of explosions inside the towns of Khiam and Taybeh, alongside artillery shelling and intensive drone flights over the capital, Beirut.
