KUWAIT, Political bureau chairman of Hamas Khaled Mishaal conferred with the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed in Bayan palace in Kuwait on Tuesday, political bureau member of Hamas Ezzet Al-Resheq said. He told that the discussion tackled Palestinian reconciliation efforts and the latest Fatah-Hamas agreement in Cairo on implementing the reconciliation.
Resheq noted that Mishaal thanked the Amir on the Kuwaiti constant support for the Palestine cause on the political, moral, and material levels. For his part, Sheikh Sabah highlighted the importance of Palestinian national unity and expressed satisfaction at the Cairo agreement, Resheq said, adding that the Amir affirmed his country’s continued backing of the Palestinian people. The Kuwaiti Crown Prince and other officials attended the meeting that was also attended by deputy political bureau chairman Dr. Mousa Abu Marzouk and political bureau members Sami Khater and Resheq.
