MP Bahar: Resistance will curb Israeli crimes against J’lem and Aqsa

GAZA, (The Palestine Information Centre)MP Ahmed Bahar, acting speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), has described the ongoing Israeli aggression against Occupied Jerusalem as an “extension of the criminal arson attack on the Aqsa Mosque in 1969.”

In a statement on the 54th anniversary of the Aqsa Mosque arson attack, MP Bahar said that “the heroic resistance operations are sufficient to curb the Israeli crimes against Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.”

“The Israeli violations in Jerusalem and at the Aqsa Mosque constitute a frenzied religious war led by the fascist occupation government against the faith of Muslims all over the world. This war would ignite the situation in the entire region,” the lawmaker warned on Monday.

“The heroic operations, most recently the Huwara and al-Khalil operations, come within the context of natural responses to deter the occupation’s crimes against Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque,” he stressed.
