Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir agree to legalize illegal West Bank settlement evacuated in 2005

Israeli occupation Prime Minister-elect Benjamin Netanyahu and far-right Israeli lawmaker Itamar Ben-Gvir reportedly agreed on Wednesday to legalize settlement of Homesh evacuated in 2005 in the northern West Bank.

Netanyahu and Ben-Gvir agreed to amend the so-called Disengagement Law in order to enable Israeli settlers to settle in the settlement of Homesh, which was one of four illegal Israeli settlements in the northern West Bank that were evacuated as part of the 2005 disengagement, which also saw the evacuation of all Israeli settlements in the besieged Gaza Strip, Israeli media reported.
