One Palestinian and two paramedics injured in settler attack in West Bank

BETHLEHEM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), At least three Palestinian citizens, including paramedics, were injured Friday evening after a horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked the village of Abu Najim in the southeast of Bethlehem.

Local sources said one citizen sustained a bullet injury when settlers stormed the village and opened live fire at vehicles.

Sources added that settlers attacked an ambulance on its way to assist the wounded, smashing its windows and attacking the crew with pepper spray.

Two paramedics reportedly suffered injuries and the ambulance was completely disabled in the settler attack.

The same settlers also closed the village’s main road and assaulted civil defense crews as they were carrying out their duties.

This attack comes amid escalating settler violence in the West Bank, where the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission recently documented 2,256 crimes and violations committed by settlers and soldiers during July, targeting Palestinians and their property across various areas.
