West Bank (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian citizen, Mashhour Yassin, who was wounded during a Jewish settler attack on the town of Yasuf, east of Salfit in the occupied West Bank, succumbed to his wounds on Thursday evening.
Director of Salfit Government Hospital Mohammad al-Ramahi confirmed that Mashhour Yassin died from critical injuries sustained during the Jewish settlers’ attack on the town.
Earlier Thursday, settlers from the illegal Havat Anton outpost attacked the al-Nasbah area east of Yasuf. During the attack, Israeli occupation forces opened fire, injuring two Palestinian citizens. One was shot in the abdomen, while the other was struck by a bullet fragment in his side. The occupation forces also arrested several citizens.
The occupation forces also stopped an al-Zaytouna ambulance in Yasuf, seized its key and threw it away, obstructing the work of the emergency medical team and preventing it from carrying out its duties.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews provided medical assistance to four people who were exposed to spray fired by Jewish settlers in the Deir Bzi’ area near Ramallah.
It is noteworthy that Jewish settlers carry out daily attacks against Palestinian civilians and their property across the occupied West Bank. According to the report, these attacks have resulted in the deaths of around 20 Palestinians and left numerous others wounded since the beginning of the current year.
