RAMALLAH, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A young Palestinian was shot dead by armed Jewish settlers on Friday evening in the town of Kobar, west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, 19-year-old Bahaa an-Natsheh, from the town of Kafr Aqab in northern Jerusalem, succumbed to wounds sustained after being shot by settlers near a farm belonging to his family in Kobar.
Local sources said that Israeli forces refused to hand over the body of the young man following the shooting attack.
Earlier, the Israeli army radio claimed that two Palestinians were shot on Friday evening after allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at the gate of a farm near the Nahliel settler outpost. One was wounded and the other was detained by Israeli forces.
The Red Crescent said Israeli forces prevented its paramedics from reaching a wounded person in the town of Kobar and ordered the ambulance crew to leave the area.
Later, the Israeli army informed the Palestinian civil affairs authority that the wounded young man succumbed to bullet injuries.
