GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian ex-detainee deported from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip was martyred and another citizen was injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting them in Gaza City on Wednesday.
The martyr was identified as Farah Hamed, who was exiled from Ramallah to Gaza as part of the 2011 prisoner swap deal. He was a commander of al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas.
According to media sources, Hamed was killed in an Israeli airstrike on a motorcycle in Gaza City’s Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood.
Meanwhile, Israeli aircraft destroyed a home belonging to the Abu Dalal family in an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, while medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital reported that six people were injured in the strike.
Two other homes were bombed and destroyed in Israeli airstrikes today, one in ash-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City and another near the Jordanian Hospital in Khan Yunis in the south.
Other incidents of gunfire and artillery shelling were reported across multiple areas of Gaza.
