GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian citizen died on Thursday after succumbing to injuries sustained in an Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza, while two others were wounded by Israeli gunfire in the south.
According to media sources, a young man, Mohamed Abu Shikyan, succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the al‑Faluja area of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza on Wednesday morning.
Two citizens were reportedly injured when Israeli forces opened fire towards al-Burj displacement camp in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.
Israeli armored vehicles also opened machinegun fire towards tents sheltering displaced families in the al-Kanees area of Khan Yunis, with no reported casualties.
Gunfire from a helicopter and gunboats was reported in separate areas of Gaza, amid other attacks, including artillery shelling.
