WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped and detained a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and on Wednesday morning.
According to local sources, a large number of Israeli troops stormed Silat al-Harithiya town in western Jenin, amid intensive gunfire, and broke into and ransacked several homes.
The sources said that the IOF detained and interrogated many local residents inside some houses they took over and used as interrogation centers in the town.
The IOF also stormed the town of Meithalun and the village of Siris, south of Jenin, and fired stun grenades in their streets.
In southern Nablus, Israeli forces kidnaped a young man after ransacking his home in Madama village.
In Tulkarem, a young man was taken prisoner following an IOF raid on an apartment building in the city’s Shuweika suburb.
In Ramallah, a young man was kidnaped by the IOF from his home in the village of al‑Janiya.
In Jericho, Israeli soldiers kidnaped three young men following violent raids on homes in Aqabat Jabr refugee camp.
The IOF also carried out raids on homes in other West Bank areas, with no reported arrests.
