WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Several Palestinians were injured on Saturday morning in an armed settler attack on the village of Madama, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources said violent clashes broke out as residents confronted settlers attacking a home in the village.
The settlers reportedly opened fire with live ammunition and stole dozens of sheep during their attack on the village.
At least three wounded citizens were initially reported, according to local sources, while the Red Crescent dispatched ambulances to the area to provide medical assistance for the wounded.
Later, the Red Crescent affirmed the number of the wounded had risen to seven people, including one person shot in the thigh and another one with shrapnel wounds.
Israeli forces and settlers have repeatedly attacked homes and property in Madama in recent months.
Meanwhile, a horde of settlers also attacked today homes and vehicles in Beita town, south of Nablus.
