GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Several Palestinian civilians were injured in fresh Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Monday, while another one was pronounced dead after succumbing to injuries sustained in an earlier strike.
A medical source reported that a citizen, identified as Mohamed Bashir, died of wounds sustained in a previous Israeli strike that targeted al‑Baraka street in Deir al‑Balah, central Gaza.
According to media sources, a child sustained a bullet injury when Israeli forces opened fire at tents sheltering displaced families in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.
Gaza’s ambulance and emergency services also reported that several people sustained injuries from Israeli artillery fire that struck an area outside army control in Gaza City’s al‑Tuffah neighborhood.
In a separate incident, an Israeli artillery projectile struck a house near al‑Sanafour junction in al‑Tuffah neighborhood, sparking a fire at the site.
Meanwhile, widespread military activity, including shooting incidents, artillery shelling, airstrikes and demolitions, was reported across Gaza today.
