Pezeshkian: Iran has no intention to build a nuclear bomb

TEHRAN (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian stated that his country does not seek control over others, accusing Israel of attacking Muslims and trying to impose its diktats upon them.

In a statement aired by state media on Monday morning, Pezeshkian affirmed that “in accordance with the Supreme Leader’s directives, Iran has no intentions of building a nuclear bomb, calling this policy a “firmly held conviction.”

“It was not Iran that abandoned negotiations [over its nuclear program]. We only demand our legal right in this regard,” Pezeshkian said.

“We have the right to use nuclear energy and conduct research that benefits this society, and no one has the right to take that away from the Islamic Republic,” the president added.

He sharply criticized the US administration, accusing it of practicing bullying and violating international law, and allowing Israel to attack his country.
