The Israeli Prison Service has been holding the Hamas leader Raafat Nassif in solitary confinement for five months.
The Asra Media Office underlined, in a statement on Tuesday, that Nassif has been held in administrative detention for twelve months without trial or charge.
“Nassif suffers from several medical conditions including migraine and stomach ulcers,” the Office asserted, calling on all human rights organizations to act urgently to release Nassif and all administrative detainees.
58-year-old Nassif, from the West Bank city of Tulkarem, is married and a father of three children. He spent 21 years in Israeli prisons mostly in administrative detention.
