Settler violence and property damage increase in multiple West Bank areas

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Jewish settler groups carried out a series of attacks and incursions across the occupied West Bank overnight and into Thursday morning, targeting Palestinian villages, residential communities, and civilian property.

In the Nablus governorate, settlers raided the village of Burqa, northwest of the city, where they vandalized and damaged several Palestinian-owned vehicles.

Settlers also attacked the village of Burin, south of Nablus, and entered the town of Sebastia northwest of the city, as well as the village of Awarta to the southeast.

Meanwhile, settlers continued their daily provocative patrols near Palestinian homes in the plain of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, in an ongoing effort to harass the local population and impose new realities on the ground.

In the southern West Bank, settlers stormed homes in Khirbet Umm al-Kheir in the Masafer Yatta area, south of al-Khalil, and assaulted residents, marking another attack in a series of repeated assaults targeting Palestinian communities in the region.

The incidents reflect a continued rise in settler violence against Palestinians and their property across the occupied West Bank, amid ongoing raids and attacks.

Palestinian groups have issued calls for increased resistance and confrontation against settler attacks in cities, towns, and villages throughout the West Bank.
