NABLUS, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Two elderly Palestinians were injured on Thursday afternoon during an attack by Jewish settlers on the Al-Junaidi factory and its surroundings, near the village of Deir Sharaf, northwest of Nablus. The assault included setting Palestinian vehicles on fire and damaging property in the area.
Local sources reported that settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, assaulted the two elderly men near the factory, injuring them. The settlers also torched several Palestinian vehicles and caused panic among residents.
The attack is part of an escalating pattern of settler violence targeting Palestinian villages in the northern West Bank, especially around Nablus. Repeated assaults on economic facilities and agricultural lands often occur with direct protection or cover from Israeli forces.
A similar attack took place near the Al-Junaidi factory and Deir Sharaf on November 13, when settlers stormed the area, vandalized Palestinian property, and set vehicles on fire. Surveillance cameras from the factory documented that incident, showing the complicity of Israeli forces, who merely secured the settlers’ withdrawal without holding them accountable.
