WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Extremist Jewish settlers launched attacks on Palestinian agricultural property and killed several sheep in different areas of the West Bank late last night and at dawn Monday.
According to media sources, a horde of settlers set fire to swaths of agricultural land in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, on Sunday evening.
Several olive trees sustained damage in the arson attack in Burqa.
At dawn, settlers torched a sheep pen and a traditional clay oven (taboun) after breaking into the home of Youssef Shanaran in the Wadi al-Rakhim area of Yatta in southern al-Khalil.
A citizen from the family of Shanaran reportedly sustained hand burns while attempting to extinguish the flames.
In southern Nablus, settlers attacked last night a barn belonging to a farmer in the Qammas area near the town of Beita.
In the hamlet of Khirbet al-Tawil near Nablus, settlers drove a tractor into a flock of sheep belonging to Palestinian shepherds, killing and injuring several of them.
