Settlers attack Palestinian farmland in Nablus and Ramallah

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Extremist Jewish settlers carried out attacks on Palestinian citizens’ swaths of agricultural land and crops in Nablus and Ramallah in the occupied West Bank on Monday.

According to local sources, settlers set fire to olive trees in groves in the village of Duma, south of Nablus, after closing the western entrance to the village and preventing residents from passing through.

The blaze reportedly damaged several olive trees, while locals tried to reach the area to contain the flames and stop them from spreading further.

In Ramallah, settlers grazed herds of camels and sheep in olive groves in the east of al-Tayba and Rammun villages, causing extensive damage and destruction to trees and crops.

Earlier, settlers set up mobile homes and shacks on swaths of Palestinian-owned land that had already been bulldozed and cleared of trees in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah.

In the northern Jordan Valley, a horde of settlers grazed their sheep on citizens’ lands in the al‑Hamma area, damaging crops.
