Several Palestinians injured in settler attacks across West Bank

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Several Palestinians were injured in fresh settler attacks in different areas of the occupied West Bank on Friday evening.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that two Palestinians were wounded by settler gunfire during an attack on the al-Adisa area of Bani Naim, near al-Khalil.

Local sources said a group of settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the area and opened live fire at residents.

Settlers also assaulted a Palestinian man and ran him over with a motorcycle while he was working his land with his children near Beit Ummar, north of al-Khalil. Israeli forces later arrested him.

Meanwhile, clashes broke out as Palestinian youths confronted a settler attack on the outskirts of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

In Occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces raided the town of Hizma, northeast of the city, and closed its entrances while firing tear gas and stun grenades. They also detained a young man and reportedly assaulted him after stopping his vehicle.

Israeli forces also raided Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, where clashes erupted. Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition, stun grenades and tear gas toward Palestinians.

In the northern West Bank, settlers wearing Israeli military uniforms assaulted a crew from an electricity distribution company, detained two employees and seized money from one of them.
