GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Six Palestinians, including an elderly woman, were killed and others injured over the past 24 hours after Israeli warplanes targeted a group of civilians near Al-Shafi’i Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, alongside sporadic gunfire across the Strip.
Local sources reported that a Palestinian man was killed just two days before his wedding after being targeted near the Asqoula junction in Zeitoun. Two other Palestinians were also killed in the same incident.
Victims and the injured were transferred to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. Later that evening, an elderly woman was shot dead by Israeli forces in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.
A 10-year-old child, Ahmed Ata Allah Faed, sustained critical injuries after being shot by Israeli forces east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. A Palestinian woman was also killed by Israeli quadcopter drone fire in the same camp.
Al-Awda Medical Complex in Al-Nuseirat reported receiving the body of a woman killed after Israeli drones opened fire on homes in Camp 5. A man was also killed in a separate drone strike targeting civilians near Abu Madin center.
Israeli military vehicles opened fire on the eastern areas of Al-Bureij camp and eastern Gaza City. A young man was seriously wounded in the neck after being shot by a quadcopter drone near Al-Tayeb Hall in Beit Lahia.
A woman was critically injured inside her tent in Tel Al-Hawa, west of Gaza City, after a bullet penetrated the shelter. Additional injuries were reported following Israeli fire targeting civilians at the Abu Asi entrance in Al-Bureij.
Earlier, medical sources confirmed three people were killed and others injured, some critically, after an overnight Israeli airstrike near Al-Shafi’i Mosque in Zeitoun.
On Sunday, eight Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike targeting civilians near Well 19 southwest of Al-Mawasi in Khan Yunis. A child was also shot dead on Salah al-Din Street in Khan Yunis.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 704 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire came into effect on 11 October 2025, with 1,013 injuries and 756 bodies recovered. Since 7 October 2023, the overall death toll has risen to 72,580, with 172,013 injured.
