A Well-known defense analyst Brg (retd) Haris Nawaz has said that the Western world has a double standard on human rights violations around the world. The OIC should play an effected role and to make joint efforts to solve the problems of the Muslim world. He expressed these views during a meeting with the delegation of Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF).
Brg. Haris said that the United Nations was established for the establishment of peace and order in the world and the just solution of problems, but it is a pity that the UNO could not succeed in achieving its goals.
The well-known defense analyst said that Palestine and Kashmir are the most important issues for the Islamic world and Pakistan. Raising voice against Israeli atrocities is the need of time.
He further said that an attempt is being made to defame Islam with the slogan of Islamophobia in the western world. On the one hand, Islamic holy things, whether it is the first Qibla or the incidents of insulting the Holy Quran and similarly, there is insolence in the glory of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), all this is done in the name of freedom of expression in the western world. This is very sad. He said that Islam teaches peace and respect for all religions is part of the basic teachings of Islam.
He condemned the Zionist atrocities in Palestine and urged to speed up diplomatic and political efforts for a just solution to the Palestinian issue.

The delegation of Palestine Foundation Pakistan invited Brigadier (R) Haris Nawaz to participate in the International Palestine Conference in February, which he accepted and appreciated the initiatives of Palestine Foundation Pakistan by assuring his participation in the conference.
